I had a bit of a close call. I ended up losing one of the classes I was going to teach to another professor whose class got cancelled. I don't begrudge him because he's fulltime and I'm part time. Yet I am edgy as a result.

The good thing that came of it was three new drawings in my gallery.

Please read this! On my other account, I got a comment from someone saying 'rofl this may be relevant to your interests' with a link. Then I clicked on the link. After nothing came up, then I tried to answer comments. I couldn't because they were CONSIDERED SPAM. Not only THAT, but I suddenly found my account posting the SAME COMMENTS!

Please do NOT click on the link if you get such a message from ANYONE! This is a virus or a hack!!!

Many thanks to all you who have prayed/supported me with what's going on with mom. She's pulled through fine.

Now I've been finishing grading/semester work and am going to get a chance to do grad school applications.

Just needing prayers/well wishes for my mom to get better. She came down with shingles of all things... :sigh:

As I head deeper into this time of the year things are looking up. Sitting in the sun a bit more and making sure I take walks is helping to lift the mood as well as going to the used bookstore and picking up some 'classics' to fuel my imagination. Including some classics by Jules Verne, a Ben Bova novel entitled Mars, and a few others. Hopefully it will encourage more art/writing.
